Duchess

Duchess, by Royal Persian was bought by Clare in Ireland from the same place as she bought Mia (another livery horse who was kept at Limebrook for six years). Duchess is 15.3 hh, and was born in 2000. She was very easy to break in - Clare broke her herself, and Alex schooled her on.
She worked in the riding school for 3 years until the school closed in 2007, and was very popular with the customers (although famous for her cow kicks going into canter!).

After the school closed she was kept at Limebrook on loan. Unfortunately the first loaners couldn't continue with her, and she spent the summer of 2008 having a break.
Then came Duchess's lucky day when Adele took her on. Duchess is a very lovely mare, and loves fuss and attention which she is getting in spades from Adele. Adele has now been by another loaner, Danielle, so Duchess can look forward to a happy winter. She looks like she is going to be thoroughly spoilt too!
