Hi all

I was Clare'd last night ( for non Limebrook people: this means a private lesson with the Manageress ), has been a long time since I had a private, and boy did I need it!!!!!

The aim of the lesson was for Clare to teach me how to teach Duke to work more off his forehand.

After 45 mins of non stop transitions ( lots of sitting trot  ) and Clare quite rightly shouting to me:
relax knee, hands up, more leg, drop heel, hands up, half halt, sit deeper, shoulders back, lower leg back, head up, half halt ( inbetween walk, canter, trot, canter, walk, trot, change rein etc)
I was absolutly cream crackered  with a rageing stitch in my side
( which I did tell her but she made me carry on  )

Poor Duke, he was dripping ( as was I ) by end of lesson and he did throw a few strops to let me know he wasn't happy about working!

Brilliant lesson though, just what we both needed :D :D :D

Huge thanks to Clare

Last night I could hardly walk after lesson and my lungs were on fire! I seriously thought I was in for a stiff old day today..... but to my disbelief I have been fine, maybe a bit sore on the seat bones but otherwise ok

Looking forward to round two

I was clare'd two weeks ago - only just recovered! Great session though - somehow I think you get more out of it when you leave it a while between lessons! Definitely good to have one once in a while as she sure does make sure you ride right!

Good luck Delly!

All i can say about my lesson is that Me and boomer came out exhausted boomer had to be washed down after! But we did a FLYING CHANGE so pleased with him we had a pole to help us out but he did change before we got to it! Clare said he was clever!!!
But i really enjoyed and boomer seemed too aswell we've got another go this thursday too!!!
