14.3 hh Jasper is 14 years old, and was bought from Rawreth Equestrian Centre. Initially Jasper was put on loan as he didn't take well to be ridden by different customers. When his 'loaner' gave him up he wa tried again in the school. Having matured he took to it well this time, and is now a great success. He is a good fun horse for advanced children, and for the smaller adult.
Jasper is probably the cheekiest horse with one of the best characters on the yard. He has a habit of curling his lips up as if he is laughing at a good joke - especially when all the riders are turned in at the end of the class when it seems like he is making fun of the instructor!
One of Jasper's worse faults is that he likes to ride on horsedung - with customers on him. The instructors all are on the look out for this, so if you are told to kick him on in a lesson, it may be that they have just seen the tell tale signs!
